in 4 years no one will have a clue who the fuck washed out is. it is of the moment. don’t think it has much depth. maybe diplo doesnt have much depth either, but his shit is much more original.

yea that part really threw me. i was basically just watching this to see if they could pull off something more complex than their music. wish they made it more weezer sounding
the cheesy stuff is the stuff i find most interesting. but anyway the new album for the most part bores me too. i just have no interest in hearing a man with a pretty voice sing pretty things over delicate guitars. yes he did that on the first album, but he had memorable hooks. this album doesnt have that. this performance was definitely awkward but i liked it.
I can’t take ben gibbard seriously anymore, he looks and sings like a parody version of himself
if you are indifferent and feel they lack excitement just move on, dont feel the need to listen more because they are a “Band To Watch”
