Hm weird, I thought both "Endless Flowers" and "Crimes of Passion" were about the best possible records you could do in that genre. The last one was not so good, true. Never liked the first record

Hmm. Guess it just reminded me of "Just Ain't Gonna Work Out" by Mayer Hawthorne

There's a Yo La Tengo tribute in the song, right?

I saw him perform last Thursday and it was MIND BLOWINGLY good. They're playing as a three piece now and it's amazing. The translation would be "Woman in Moon, Stars walking" btw.

Broken Social Scene - Feel Good Lost (their underrated pre-fame debut ambient album. It's like a warm blanket!) K.C. Accidental - Anthems for the Could've Bin Pills

Never understood why everyone went apeshit about "Rip It Off". But their very last record, let me tell you, THAT was an amazing record. At least they went out on top.

Writers' Block is one of my favorite records of the aughts. Such a shame everyone keeps saying PBJ are a one hit winder. That record is awesome from start to finish. The first two records are great too!

Which is totally fine, it's just weird that the album seems completely finished. There's a tracklist and everything...

You can't really write sentences like "Nick Mulvey, Kate Tempest … Seriously, who the heck are those people?" on a music site, in my opinion. What's the point of writing something like that? Make yourself familiar with the acts - or don't. But don't write something like that. JFC.

"Very poetic, Whitest Boy Alive! And very unnecessary capitalization!" That's because those are both song and album titles of the band.

"Did Kings Of Convenience break up? This is not a rhetorical question; I can’t find confirmation either way" Are you serious? How about checking their official Facebook page? It takes literally 10 seconds to see that they've been playing concerts every summer since 2009. So, no they haven't broken up. Same goes for The Whitest Boy Alive - he just takes it very slow with all of his projects.

"Thinking of a Dream I’ve Had" is so underrated. They hardly play it nowadays but I still believe it's the best song they've ever written. It should have the same status that "The Rat" has.
