I saw him in the UK a couple of years before he died. He was just one of those rare people that you knew were born to do what they were doing.
Elliott’s death left a hole in that genre that no one is even close to filling. What a bummer.
One of the first things I think of when I read the term ‘reconstituted hole’ is Courtney Love.
With every video release I’m reminded to go back and listen to the album again. Much more enjoyable than their last few, IMO.

This does not, however, lessen my anticipation for the album.
Agreed. The list of bands entering before Rush even has a nomination is maddening. I suspect they keep them off the roster just to get mentioned in circles they might not otherwise reach.
I went to the Hall 5 or 6 years ago and they had a huge Rush exhibit – a whole drum setup, etc… So much Rush stuff on the floor, yet they weren’t members. Odd.

I love me some Noel. While overall the song is a disposable tune, the chorus is fantastic.
