Seriously still no love for Josh Ritter. That’s just a huge tragedy. Also where is Tunng, Avi Buffalo, and Matt Costa,
I agree 100% I personally don’t care for Kanye’s MBDTF but I can at least understand why everyone likes it. With Sleigh Bells I’m left utterly confused.
I know I haven’t been on Stereogum in a while but how did I miss the voting for this? In that case I feel the need to list my top 10.

Pitchfork has really gone down hill. They put Kanye at number and don’t even inclde the best album of the year Josh Ritter – So Runs The World Away.
While I agree The Suburbs is overrated Sufjan Stevens vocals are so bad on Age of Adz.
Almost forgot Junip. They had a great album as well. Surprised they didn’t make anyone list this year (not as much as Josh Ritter though).
