Was there a big changing of the guard over at Spin in the last five years? Because on their last list they gave #1 to OK Computer and Pavement was also higher. Also I liked that list better.

This list gave me mixed feelings. Really glad to see P4k giving Neko Case some love and putting her in the top 25 for the first time ever. Also glad to see Passion Pit and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs made it at all since they didn’t get great reviews the first time around. REALLY glad to see they left Wavves off completely; I can’t tell you how much I hate Wavves or WAVVVES or whatever (lies, I hate Wavves a lot).
But bummed that Sunset Rubdown didn’t make it and REALLY bummed they left off Camera Obscura! WTFUCK?! It was one of the top 20 best, easy.
This is truly Stereogum’s “DAWES” moment.
