every now and then i come back to stereogum to see if they say anything cool. and they don’t. see ya.
thank you kanye west, your album being “best of the year” has helped me realized that looking at top albums of the year is pretentious and dumb. and as a side note, ive come on to this website 5% as much as i used to before kanye became a god, so maybe keep that in mind next time you try to hype up a mainstream artist that no one would otherwise care about.
alright. ive had it. i know that its all edgy to like this album because of pitchfork and stuff, but im so fucking sick of hearing about this album. its totally average, and the fact that every “indie” website on the internet is hyping it is just a pathetic attempt to evade the label of “hipster”. “we SOMETIMES like mainstream music, when its GOOD!” i dont care. on the top of this website it says “indie music news” not “news about indie music and edgy douchebag rappers.” if i wanted to give a crap about kanye west, or lil wayne, or any of those other shitheads, i would read rolling stone.
i fucking hate lil wayne. thats all.

permission to not have to consider this “chillwave” anymore? this is way to real sounding for that.

oh god why is lil wayne on this list? i hope he doesn’t get “stereogum friendly”. i can handle kanye news, but if lil wayne news is constantly on here i might just lose my shit. but everything else is exciting.

also, if this was for some kind of photoshoot (and im guessing it was), kirsten doesnt have much of a case. if the picture was originally taken for something that would be displayed publicly, then it would be hard to argue the privacy rights clause. unless she hires robert shapiro.
i wouldnt sue them because the purpose of lawsuits are to establish some sort of retribution for wrongdoing, not a quick and easy way to make money, like most americans pushing lawsuits presume it to be.
i know she got them signed or whatever, but i really wish sleigh bells would stop doing everything with M.I.A. because they so rule and she so sucks.
i just hope this is like their 8th best song on the album.
