It’s not that it is bad, it just does so little for so much. Can’t record TV, very limited number of codecs, no support for DVD or anything. It’s more of a delivery system for iTunes. If all your media is purchased from iTunes, then it is good for you. But there are many better options for media center (Boxee/XBMC) that add features like support for all types of codecs, DVR-capabilities, and even play DVDs/CDs for cheaper.

Tech nerd out. Music nerd in! How about them Japandroids? My choice for album of the year.

An Apple TV! OMG!

What, did an editor want to get rid of that piece junk or something?

Well, you are wrong.

Album release was 2008, single release for “In the New Year” was 2009. But I agree, for a band like the Walkmen, singles mean absolutely nothing. It is a 2008 song, I mean, what hip NYE party didn’t play it last year.

This would have been the perfect chance for Pitchfork to do what it should have done back in the day. Forget that The Rapture ever happened. And 500-201 presented without comment = Hey, we at Pitchfork can shuffle our Most Played too!

Overall, fun way to kill some time.

Go ahead. You can do it! I believe in you.

As for the song, really does sounds like post-Separation Sunday Hold Steady. Chicken-egg scenario.

You know, “Papa Was A Rodeo” and Oberst could of been damn good. But my god, that one is terrible. But this seems pretty solid. It’ll be a fun one listen.
