Wow, “Judge, Jury & Executioner” is amazing.
Now that’s a set.
I wish they used the full version of the song, if only to give the giant teddy bears more screen time.
Yeah, I think that wallofice site is a hoax.
Here’s hoping to something on Monday, but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much.
But wait you guys, Holly went to college, she knows more about this stuff.
You used Noel Gallagher and Chris Cornell as examples of good songwriting? Really? I mean, apart from the fact that Noel basically rips off every artist he likes and writes the most asinine lyrics imaginable, or the fact that Cornell hasn’t written a good song since about ’96 and has recently just come out with one of the most embarrassing records of recent memory…what was your point, again?
Awesome song.
It’s only the demo of “Speed of Sound”, not the album version. It still sounds pretty good.
The artwork is…interesting.
Love that guitar line.
30-year-old Lily is much, much hotter than 22-year-old Lily.
Yeah, I get what Hov is trying to do, but his performance is weak.
I still have faith that The Blueprint 3 will be strong, though. “Brooklyn (Go Hard)” is a song released by him not too long ago that suggests he hasn’t lost anything.
Guys, it’s just a song. Chill out.
I think it’s a song like “World Wide Suicide” that will sound better on record.
I have an MP3 of the performance, and it actually sounds pretty good with headphones. Just a solid hard rocker. I don’t think it’s going to be the single, though. It looks like that will be “The Fixer”.
Song was meh but the mix was off.
You can tell it’s not a great live song.
I actually like this song. From “Closer” to “Notion” the album is pretty good, but then it drops significantly off in quality for the next couple of songs, before returning again with “Cold Desert”.
Looks awesome.
Well, that sounds better, admittedly. Cool title, too.
Now there’s rumors of them selling their album exclusively through Target.
That’s even more lame, although you’ll still probably be able to buy it through Ten Club and all that.
I don’t know how to defend this, and I want to, since I’ve been a Pearl Jam fan since my early teens, but I guess it all comes down to whether the music is good or not.
Eh, well, the Target thing kinda sucks but at least it’s directed by Crowe, who they’re friends with. Still, new Pearl Jam material is always good, not only because it’s well…new material…but also because it means a tour. And they’re always awesome live.
And the Target thing hasn’t been confirmed yet…I hope they don’t do it because it just sounds lame in theory, but I’ll give ‘em a pass as long as the song is alright.
I thought IR was their best since OKC, so I’m excited to hear some new material.
It would be cool if they released a couple of EPs of new songs leading up to the album.
Or even a live album.
LOL good one.
What a fucking stupid thing to say.
Great song, I like this a lot better than the title track.
Horrible choice for a single. I thought Halo was an obvious single when I first heard the album. This song here might be the worst on the album.
The song they’re playing is actually called “Við spilum endalaust”.
Wonderful performance, and I disagree with the guy above, the video is great.
Eddie is WASTED in that video. Love the mohawk, though.

Wow, they rocked the shit out of “Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses”!
