Yea, it’s not Lady Gaga on “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” According to the booklet it’s Anna Wise of Sonnymoon. It was originally supposed to be Lady Gaga but it didn’t work out.

Jordy, that’s something a hipster would say.

Technically this is a new video because the old one was taken down because of copyright infringement. If you’ll notice there aren’t any Disney cartoons in this one.

Also the Internet is a pretty large place. Even though you may have already heard this (I have) some people may not have. If you notice on the comments there are a good amount of people hearing this for the first time. I’d say it’s better that this is discussed than not discussed. No need to be smug/snarky about it.

So far I have not heard a single song of theirs that I didn’t like.

I have to say I really enjoyed this album. For me there was only one song that missed and that was “First Light.” Other than that one song this is a very solid album and better than most. I would put it in the same category as At Dawn, It Still Moves and Z.

I guess this makes up for them not be rewarded for Funeral.

Yea I really think they got Beach House’s “Teen Dream” mixed up with Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.”

Best New Artist should go to Drake. I’ve always thought of Mumford & Sons as a wanna-be Avett Brothers.

The Grammy’s remain to be a joke. Personally this was my least favorite Arcade Fire and it has no shot of winning the Album of the Year category. I just hope it doesn’t go to Katy Perry, even though I can’t stand any of the other nominees either (exception to OLD Eminem).

Well maybe he’ll be happy this time because Rollingstone actually gave it 5 stars. I really don’t see Rollingstone as a credible source these days (anything, and I mean anything, released by Bruce Springsteen or U2 gets an automatic 5 stars) but this might be the only rap CD I’ve ever seen get 5 stars from Rollingtone. When you say you don’t care for the long non-Runaway tracks do you mean the rest of the album? I’d say all of the songs on it are pretty long (excluding All of the Lights Interlude) especially when you’re considering rap songs.

I think his biggest problem with album sales will be all those people that don’t understand that he really is a great musician. The fiasco with Taylor Swift is only going to hurt his mass appeal because people that saw that only seem him as a huge prick (which he may be). A lot of the people that bought his previous CD’s bought them for the chart topping hits (Gold Digger, Stronger, etc.) and those are the type of people that will most certainly back Taylor Swift and not buy his music for spite. Also this CD from what I’ve heard (only Power and the G.O.O.D. Friday) doesn’t have any really radio friendly hits. It may be his best and most impressive CD but it doesn’t have that huge extremely accessible song.

Aww good job Gino, you totally changed my perception of Vampire Weekend. I don’t know what I would have done if you had never said this song was so terrible (I’m just gonna assume you meant both, there are two seperate songs you know). I probably would have just gone on still liking them but now I hate them with a burning passion.

Couldn’t agree more. I wouldn’t call this song awful but they said they were done selling out and apparently turned down the show Glee (I don’t even know how that’s possible). I read this album would be more like their first and from this first single they must have confused Youth and Young Manhood with Because of the Times. Here’s hoping that this is the only song of its kind.

This is what I hoped Enjoy Your Rabbit would be like.

The thing i don’t get is that people come on all of the links relating to her and say that they don’t “get it.” I could really care less. Apparently I’m one of the lucky ones that do.
