Um…I just bought a limited edition fur covered Black Moth Super Rainbow CD a few months ago. A band who opened for The Flaming Lips in the past and who’s latest album was produced by longtime ‘Lips’ producer Dave Fridmann. Coincidence? Rip-off? Or maybe fur is in this year? Sorry Wayne, you were beat to the punch on this one. Anyway, I still can’t wait to buy Embryonic.
Don’t get me wrong, I Iike old and new Shoegaze, but the genre went from innovation to immitation. I just wish there was more innovation.
