I saw AF in Columbia, MO at a small place called Mojo’s right before Funeral really blew up. Before hand I asked Win and Richard for a photo, and they were totally cool about it. Although I’m pretty tall, those dudes are giants; and because we held the camera Win’s head got cut off in the picture. No point to this story really, I just didn’t see the pompous side that day I guess.
I can’t even wrap my brain around this; it hurts to try.
The Gallery looks really good guys. It’s going to be great to see photos from festivals and concerts in that format.
Erlend is my hero
Whoa
BaROCK!
I appreciate the satire.
I dug it. I haven’t listened to anything he’s done before and that was? killer.
It reminded me of Nina Nastasia a bit.
Well, that’s just great. When insulted by someone with such excellent grammar on the internet, I get all worked up.
But really, KOL have gone to crap. I never said my band was any good.
I’ve tried to stay away from the whole “KOL” suck so bad now argument for awhile; but damn.
This sucks.
This song, this video, and their whole change to “New”2 are just terrible. I’m not one to pine for a band’s glory days after they go south, so I’m just done.
D U N done.
Why isn’t this article listed under “Shit List”?
Well, most of them are good, I guess.
Excellent
“This is the last time we’ll post about Buckcherry.”
Promise?
I know this is a music blog and has nothing to do with graphic design, but the typography on that flyer is atrocious.
This is from the same man who wrote “Tighter & Tighter”.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
That was batshit loco.
And awesome.
I think Zack’s flow is pretty tight on those verses. I liked it.
I just have to say that the album that this track is from, “Perennial Favorites”, is really, really good. Not at all like the cheesy tripe that Setzer and B.B.V.D. and the Cherry Poppin Daddy’s (gross) were spewing around that time.
Seriously, I know that’s a tough stance to defend in this hip climate, but give that disc a shot. If you like Andrew Bird and his ilk, you should listen to “Perennial Favorites”.
Word.
Yeah, where is The Count on this one? That would be a duet worth blogging about?
I second that. And 2.0?
Awesome.
Why Bother was pretty cool. But why bother with the rest of those songs?
Ok, I just heard the Yo La Tengo bit… I’m sold.
I paid 5 bucks, and so far, it’s alright. The Paranoid Android / Rock Boys mash is pretty cool. I also liked when he dropped Ace of Bass. But it’s a bit? gimmicky I guess.
I think “Method of Modern Love” is off the hook.

My band ilijah is playing on Thursday from 3 to 3:30 at Plush on 7th and Red River. Come say hi.
