Of course it’s inevitable. Malkmus’ solo stuff pales in comparison to what they gave us as a band.
Screw Vampire Weekend, THIS is my most anticipated album of 2010.
Sounds like slightly updated Girls Can Tell material. It’s decent, but I hope it’s not the best song on the record.
For those interested, Editors is out digitally now.
What’s the over/under on the number of Robert Pollard-related albums for 2010?
This coming from the same kind of hipster dude who’s been creaming his pants all over our Anvil!
Panda Bear licks fuzzy balls…many his own
In no particular order: Magnetic Fields, The National, Ted Leo, Interpol, and The Hold Steady.
Most…overrated…band…on…Earth.
That should be no surprise Jack. Their shit is always terrible.
I just had the Solanges at my house replaced. I figured while they were working on the gutters and downspouts I may as well have them do the solanges too.
There should be some sort of rule that you can only “cover” yourself after a minimum 20 years has passed since it was first released. Just sayin’.
Wow, this album is DULL.

I’ve seen the Axl N’ Roses show twice as they’ve passed through Toronto (luckily we’ve never been on the lengthy cancelled show list) and they actually play the old stuff pretty competently. That’s what happens when the guys have nearly 20 years to rehearse them.
