actually, they are just bad. animal collective, neutral milk hotel, modest mouse, the fucking fleet foxes, sufjan stevens, grizzly bear. ask anyone under 900 years old who they are, and they’ll know something or other. there is a difference between being on an indie label, and being a band that attracts “megaindiedouche”‘s. just because a band isn’t on fucking Z 100 FM doesnt mean they don’t have a shit ton of listeners.
