Not even just rumored. One or both of them (I think it was just Cole) had said this would come out sooner or later.
Nas wanted to lynch an effigy of Jay-Z at Summer Jam one year, but it was too ruthless to be allowed.

Never compare DMX to Chris Brown.
The album's not bad, you were just expecting Fiona Apple when you should have been thinking Lykke Li.
Should have waited for The Roots to drop.
Tity Boi was always a good feature, but I doubt I could listen to a solo project from him.
Brooklyn? We in there.
I agree. I liked the ASAP but I've been listening to Freddie all week.

Love the Nas video. The new album is going to be serious.
Weird choice to shoot a video for. Probably my least favorite song on Section.80. Great album though.
There's really no reason to hate her.
Hip hop doesn't care that indie is it paying attention to it now. The only hip hop that will over-saturate will be the acts that came to be because of the new indie exposure. Unless by "super-saturate, re-peak and implode" you mean that it will get played out, then yeah. But if you've been a fan a hip hop for years, I doubt it would affect you. Whatever happens, it can't possibly be worse than the "Hip Hop is dead/NO IT'S NOT!" era back in 2006. Although SPACEGHOSTPURP does give me that bad D4L-esque feeling.
