It’s ridiculous all this silence around Swans.
Feel like I’m not going to do this anytime soon. Bad vibes.
WTF? Nas record is absolutely great and is perhaps the one that I have listened to the most from the Wyoming Tapes. They are all great.
Weyes Blood has the best record of the year for me. But I do prefer this EP artwork cover than the one in the album.
Here's my bet: they are working with Eno again and they will do what he did with James and we will be graced with a Wah Wah first and then a Laid. That would be awesome.
This is one of the most insightful things I have ever read about music in my whole damned life. I’m gonna listen to it again with fresh ears.
Tom: regarding the roaring porn industry in the 70s, have seen The Deuce (HBO)?
The video borrows some of the most amazing things of Weyes Blood Movies. I love it.
Best album ever.
Lana should work with foreigners too.
I absolutely loved the new Swans track.
What a poor musical world you live in.
Was a fun up to Cast of Thousand and even kind of enjoyed Leaders. The rest is butt. And the singer’s solo album an embarrassment.
Worst band eva.
This new Big Thief track further cements my opinion that the band is the new Red House Painters. They are in their Songs For a Blue Guitar phase and this track sounds is their Make Like Paper.
Absolutely. Probably Tom hasn’t even seen any of these movies.
This and what you said about Elvis Costello yesterday. I fuck with both.
I am re-reading it twenty years after I read it for the first time. The chapter about him in prison is just stellar.
A true genius. Few, very very few, had a bigger influence in the popular music we had been listening to in the last 60 years.
Cate Le Bon video for Home To You is my favourite so far.
It’s a letdown if you ask me.
TMB is such a great album.
I am with you. Modern Boxes was such a thrilling listen and this one so far has left me underwhelmed. It will obviously grow on me but boy. The film is cringeworthy. To think I stoped listening to Buzzcocks to dedicate some time around this release.
I find this genuinely inaudible and unwatchable.
Oh I saw him live in Porto about a month ago and he was so joyous and sympathetic. Great gig too.
Love you I love you I love you I love you but you’re not here.
