I recently was in roommate hell with untrained dogs pissing and shitting in the house, owners that refused to give them flea treatment, and lots of unchecked alcoholism... but hey! The first time I read the original Elizabethtown WOMAT I was upset. I enjoy this movie. I don't feel the need to defend it, but I felt like that WOMAT was a tiny rift between me and Videogum.
I laughed the entire time while reading this. So maybe instead of rewatching a movie to see how I've changed, I just needed to read a WOMAT to see how I've changed.
I haven't been paying a lot of attention to X-Men movies over the past year or two, or their fans who love them. You know, just busy with life and whatnot. If someone had asked me yesterday if I was going to see Wolverine I would've said probably not, and been done with it.
But if it's is the last X-Men movie that Wolverine is going to be in? Then I feel, my friends, like I have been a fool. Sure, I can rewatch old X-Men movies but I will still know Wolverine is gone from the franchise.

I really liked the movie, even though there were a lot of weird problems. I laughed basically the entire time, so that's good, right? It kind of seemed like it was a play adapted into a movie. Maybe it should have just been a play. I don't know.
There was a really terrible rape joke, but it was okay because all the characters were just as horrified as the audience. Drunk Jon Hamm doesn't know what he's saying when he is drunk and an asshole!
