i posted this again because i posted it last night and nothing happened and i got scared and i never know what's going on in the world so sorry sue me.
i just had an arugula salad with grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, carrots and a balsamic vinigiarette.
It's part of my two-days-old "Try to Eat A Salad Every Day" Initiative.
Which has been at odds with my lifelong "Try To Eat Like A Polar Bear" Solution.
Check back never to see how I'm doing!
when that nazi wiped blood off his shoe, i was like, "did he just pee blood? he should see a doctor! peeing blood is not something you just ignore and throw down the toilet! you can probably beat this if you treat it early enough!"
then i remembered (somehow) that i have a pretty terrible short-term memory!
i love percy jackson and also the Egyptian mythology books that the author writes and i talk about them all the time! I talked about them for like 45 minutes at a dinner at a fancy restaurant the other night with some friends. And they still gave me a hug when I left! What a world!

zzzzzzzzzzzz
in an update to last week's award-winning "i went to the doctor" post, i had a CT Scan on Monday. It was weird and mildly unpleasant (you have to drink a bunch of stuff called Contrast that tastes terrible, then get an IV of iodine which makes you feel like you're peeing yourself even though you aren't - it's the coolest/least cool experience ever). Anyways, I have 3 hernias! I didn't even know that was possible, but at least it is something treatable and they figured it out. Now I have to get sliced open a little bit most likely over the Xmas holiday, but hurrah, I went to the doctor and they are going to fix me! Hopefully!
i went to the doctor for the first time in forever (like, i don't know when I went last) because I've had some weird stomach pains for a while and im a worrier and it was driving my brain crazy. they took blood and urine and i'm going to have a ct scan, which sounds really scary. but im glad i went and hope it's nothing bad and all. my parents are obviously worried becuase they live like 3000 miles away, but i feel like this was a big step to becoming a grown-up; having a problem and then trying to do something about it. so im hope im ok and all, but really i hope this starts a new process where i go to the doctor more often than once every 12 years.
im thankful for being able to fly a few thousand miles to spend a few days with my family to listen to my parents yell at the dog. we don't have a doggy door and she just stands at the door all day long to hang out for like 5 seconds and then she wants to come in and then she wants to go out. but they're trying to teach her that that's not how you do it, but my dog is like 15 years old people years, so she's not learning any new tricks as they say. oh, and she's deaf! and cute! love my dog! and my family!
my dream as long as i've lived in new york city is to plan and execute a times square bar crawl. applebee's, tgif, the olive garden, guy's heart attack emporium, etc. The only thing stopping me so far is the couple of thousand dollars it would take to pay for 5 drinks in times square. oh also, chevy's fresh mex.
