I haven't seen the documentary - I saw 48 Hours Mystery and Dateline on this case (in case you're wondering, the Dateline episode was a lot like the 48 Hours Mystery episode, except most of the narrative ended in a question?)

I can't watch this because i live in Canada. This is frusterating because there is a HUGE gap between "Gabe and Max's Internet Thing" and the here and now. I'm flailing around in the dark! Gabe and Max don't care about Canada. Do with that what you will.
Gabe, I like this feature, but I think you should also bold the subject (ie. celebrity, movie, whatever). The source/websit is bolded, and that's fine. I think it would be good to also bold the basic idea of the link? Just a suggestion.

Well. I haven't lived in NYC and I haven't seen his band. My memories are still of Jordan Catalano. He was hot then, and apparently, he is still hot now. Never wanted to discuss my studies with him, but that's ok.
I don't care that he's been dying his tips and wearing hi-tops and doing heroin or whatever. He's still hot.
I can't decide! The music - mid-90's...the large clocks round the rappers' necks....I think I've decided. I love this video, but the clock necklaces and sideways hat gave it away - gotta be fake. Or the Netherlands have started to vomit up their own culture for no good reason, and look for gross stuff to eat.

I am still a big fan of videogum and I love reading the comments.
I don't like the videogum posts of tweens and younger kids and even older teens (basically any kid under the age of 16 or 17 - definitions! who cares!) doing something that is startling or unusual. It feels mean to have a laff at their expense. They will probably be fine, because I spose we assume that they have massive self confidence and a big support network to post the clip on youtube to begin with, but maybe not. If I see a youtube of a kid, I'm either clapping my hands and saying hooray, or I'm ignoring it. Because they are kids.
When it comes to kids, either say something positive, or stfu. That doesn't always happen on videogum though.
Still, I am a big fan and I love to read the comments. You commenters should get paid:)

Ok, I might be going crazy, but I saw that cam on Friday and I just looked at it again and the dog bed is changed (no big deal - get a new dog bed every few days - these dogs are celebrity dogs!) and, more importantly, there are 2 light colored pups. On Friday, I am pretty certain that all the pups were dark colored and there 4 or 5. There were 3 by Mom's front paws, and 2 or maybe 1 by her back feet. I never saw any light colored pups at all. I suppose it doesn't matter. I was buying into the whole story of Mom and her pups, but maybe it is Mom and her pups and Mom-Across the Hall's pups.
Aww...he's alright. He picked a good back up track. For real. That shows some good taste uncommon in a...an...eleven year old? Twelve year old? How old is that kid? Sigh...I feel old when I can't guess the age of people younger than I. Than me. My point is: I'm out of touch, and I don't know good english. And that back up track is good.
I was struggling with that too...this kitten-bucket video is whatever you think it should be. Like Gabe said, "When you look into the bucket, the bucket also looks into you." Deep thoughts! Enjoyable thoughts...because I'd rather be thinking deep thoughts while looking at kittens than looking at graveyards or whatever.
Like, don't take it personally, but you people from Asia have a total habit of stealing my epiphonies, taking my jobs, being tight with your families and such, and irregardless of your legal status which I totally appreciate, you are so different from me.

Tina Fey is awesome, but she was all over the map on this comment, and excuse me for pointing it out.
Videogum is the best pop culture website on the go, partly because I thought that it wasn't afraid to call people out when there was some callin' out to be done.
Strawman argument; Tina fails (at this! not at much else). Elderly female comidiennes are not all "crazy". People do not see them that way. And, to boot, they all also happen to be "working", just like their male couterparts.
It's hard to fire government employees. If they have a satisfactory employment record, their outside activities are looked at in isolation. And those activities: if one can clearly establish his posts are a hate crime, well, then, that's criminal. And if the posts don't amount to that? Well, then, it's hard to fire the dude on the posts alone. He hasn't been charged criminally with a hate crime, sooooo.....
I think his employers are frantically looking for other ways to fire him. And there is always the last resort: fire without cause, and eat the damages.
None of this changes the fact that the guy is a small-minded, over-educated bigot.
I don't have a curfew at all, so I think it's ok that I don't get where she's at and stuff. It is strongly suggested that I get some sleep before each work day, but really that's a choice. I digress. She's harmless. And her music is terrible.
