SO much of what you felt about this movie experience is what I felt. It helps that I saw it in the same theater and had the same feelings about that, but I also thought it was so charming and adorable, and I love Mark Duplass and everything that he does, and Aubrey Plaza was so nicely not April, and yeah there was a lot of suspending of disbelief but I think that is what made it so wonderful. I left the theater and immediately told everyone I knew that they needed to see it.
She once told a client that a woman who wants to order her own meal in a restaurant isn't a woman you would want to marry. Because she would have opinions. So yeah, I'm surprised by the surprise.
This. I two people doing this. Except they were having a contest to see who could put the rat further into their mouths, so there was a lot of gagging involved.
I like when he says the one thing in the movie that is supposed to make you dislike him and it is the most obvious thing that is supposed to make you not like him which is "wow, he can't even control his own girlfriend" (or something to that effect). And then we are like "wait, if we are supposed to not like him for saying that, why would would like any of the other characters based on any of the things they said in the whole movie?" and it is ruined. Just kidding it was already ruined.
I have been watching The West Wing to hype myself up for The Social Network, and this is really killing my government-employees-are-so-inspiring-and-passionate-about-making-the-country-a-better-place buzz.
I agree with most of the things that you are saying and was for sure being sarcastic. I guess I should have used quotes when saying "liberal media" to be absolutely clear that I think saying "liberal media" is akin to saying "I have no responsibility to know any facts."
I guess also to be clear, I should say that I do not think that having anything to do with Dancing with the Stars qualifies you for anything. Ever.
it makes me want to explode with anger when I see things like this, and then it makes me want to cry when I know that LOTS OF PEOPLE WILL STILL VOTE FOR HER. But to be fair, those people probably wouldn't watch liberal media like CNN in a million years. Unfortunately...they do watch Dancing with the Stars, and praising your daughter's dancing certainly qualifies you to be president!
