The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
Always worry when bands change their members (See The Shins). Are all original members back? Web does sound good though.
Hard to rate their albums - love em all.

Make that "Great"... Right up to the point where Bill Berry left. Just goes to show how integral some members are to the sound of a band... Cue The Shins - I just don't think they sound quite the same anymore.
No, BDSM isn't simply getting your rocks off.
When it comes to a topic so subjective, there's surely more than one version of what actually transpired. BDSM is no empirical art.
Sounds better than I first imagined. I'd buy the CD.
Picturing Arpad with Mike again...
Shame. Loved his previous album. How people would like to call anything art.
Have no idea when I became such a big fan of Thee Oh Sees, maybe it was when I saw them live in Sydney last year. They are severely underrated and I'm really excited to hear their new album before they go on a much deserved hiatus. Hopefully another gig in Sydney before then...? Also looking forward to new Black Lips, Flaming Lips, My Morning Jacket, Perfume Genius and Wilco (More collab with Jim O'Rourke please)
PS. The only time I'd agree with NO photography is when an artist is staging a conceptual piece; and taking one shot (out of context) makes no sense.
I recommend restraint, 6-7 shots (no flash) for the entire concert. Only ONE 20 sec video concert if you must. Be considerate to other concert goers. It IS a rock concert after all; let's not get overly precious and ban photography altogether.
Hoping for more vintage BKs. Recent radio friendly hits left me cold.
Damien Jurado, elbow, Ed Harcourt and Prince are all dropping new albums.
The Flaming Lips at 35? Guess It's lost on everyone just how brilliant this album is.
