Essentially a rewrite of 'Days' and I'm totally fine with that.
You're awn it, Donny T.
I am now hungrier than I was before I clicked this article.
Awe-sum. Squarehead are terrific. Great to see a feature on some new Irish music; we're practically bursting at the seams over here with musical talent so good on the 'gum.
Having said that about 'Unbelievers' it still hasn't stopped the melody rattling around the inside of my skull
Anyone else struggling to warm to 'Unbelievers'? The live renditions threw me off immediately and the studio version hasn't managed to convert me yet. 'Finger Back' is an early favourite, not crazy on the spoken word interlude though, and 'Obvious Bicycle' is unspeakably gorgeous.
Now this is what I call 'ambient punk'.
50/50 rules. Julian sounds like he's wailing from the bottom of a gutter through a broken radiator belt.
Revolver. 'She Said She Said' drenches my mind in acid-soaked vibes e'ry time.

Donnytilla is gonna be PISSED when he gets here.
So, so cynical. Who gives a shit if people only pretend to like it so they can satisfy some complex within 'em? Let them at it, I'm gonna enjoy this album all the same. And saying that there music is 'esoteric'? Gerrup outta that. What do you even mean by 'esoteric'? They've got beats, they've got grooves, they've got killer hooks and melodies; it doesn't require that much thought really. The music moves you or it doesn't. The music is only esoteric as long as there are people like you to maintain that it is. You're worse than the plastic fans that you came here to call out.
This albums sounds like the flowering of some beautiful mental illness.
Caravan is an amazing tune.
Solid list; it's always difficult to approach these top 10 lists when you have a bank or 60 or so songs that all have equal claim to inclusion. Still, any list that champions the greatness of '13' is a winner in my books, even though 'Battle' just pips 'Caramel' and 'Trimm Trabb' to the post for me. The lack of any songs from 'Blur' is surprising but excusable. Any love for 'Music Is My Radar' here? That has to be one of the great Blur tunes.
