I don't think he should have to apologize. Suicide is a sensitive issue, but with drastic reprocussions, and statements like these are what people need to hear. Just an opinion as someone who has been there.
I'm so glad to see that everyone blocked out the Jack White X Insane Clown Posse collab from a few years ago.
It's a shame too. He wasn't Jimmy Chamberlain, but the dude did back-up singing, and they performed this awesome cover of Black Diamond by Kiss on tour, with Mike Byrne singing.
I'd be willing to concede that you could group bands like Foster the People, Klaxons, MGMT, and Passion Pit in the same genre, but, they do all have their very own spin on their stuff. There are bands blatantly ripping off each other (cough* Black Keys *cough*), but we are starting to be vague as to what constitutes as visible inspiration, and blatant rip-off.
They had like four hits off of Torches :P
You know, I'm okay with the Emo influence here. I don't look at Cloud Nothings any differently than say Sunny Day Real Estate. It's not the pop punk Fall Out Boy sound as so much as the 90s days of Jimmy Eat World, obviously mixed in with traditional Cloud Nothings sound.
Well I hear you on Austra!
Why does Canada have to be Reqion Blocked? We aren't terrorists, you know...
Just ignore Canada, jesus....
This list is spot on
Not quite triphop, but definitely fills the spot.
Nahh man, I was once a twelve year old... Didn't like him then either.
I don't think I've ever seen quite as severe a neck beard as on James Murphy
I actually like this even more than What To Say... I'm surprised
Sainthood was such a great record with Hell, On Directing, Northshore, and Don't Rush, and you only pick Aligator... Not to mention the absence of Call it Off.

I'll give them "The Cave", but I refuse to like them for making the same song every time after that.
Closer is a great song, and clearly following the evolution from The Can and Sainthood, and that Cyndi Lauper cover really picks up.
