Who needs him when Trump cuts out the middle man and just spews the hateful garbage and nonsense conspiracy theories himself?
Watch election coverage? Or the news in general? Interact with almost any person in almost any capacity?
I had the chance to see Mangum solo a few times over the last couple of years, and I was at the Baltimore show, and you are exactly right. Mangum solo is great, but the full band performance is a completely different animal. The upbeat songs especially are injected with an energy that neither the recorded version, nor the solo performance match. They did an up-tempo version of "Leave Me Alone/Gardenhead" that was unbelieveable. As great as Jeff is solo, it is no substitute for the full band.
I was there too. How amazing was that show? Seeing Jeff solo there back in 2011 was amazing, with the crowd in hushed, reverent awe. Last night was completely different, people were jumping up and down, thrilled, and ecstatic. And the songs, live, with a full band, were just incredible. I so badly wish I had a recording of that version of "Gardenhead/Leave Me Alone".
He has a lot of phenominally great songs to be sure, but anyone who doesn't say "Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard" is a liar and a lunatic
I was talking to some friends just this week about this band, and wondering if we'd ever hear any more from them. Can't wait for the 9:30 Club show.
Santigold. Also, funfunfunfest.com might want to renew that domain...
Does Walt know about Mike and Saul giving the DEA the restraining order last week? I'm asking because it seemed pretty careless of Walt to go rushing to Saul's office as soon as he learns the DEA are trailing a different lawer associated with Mike. Even for ego-monster Walt, that seems a bit careless. Unless, of course, he doesnt know that the DEA know Saul and Mike are linked. Granted, being at the office of a criminal lawyer that just so happens to be associated with a criminal is not, in and of itself, all that damning. But if the DEA had been watching Saul, it would have at least gotten Walt photographed at his office, which would probably end up being seen by Hank ("Hey Hank, isn't this your brother-in-law, the chem teacher? What's he doing at Saul Goodman's office?")
I get the feeling that a little methlymine goes a long way. Walt says the 1000 gal they have is enough to make $300M worth of meth. Weren't the batches they were making for Gus about 400lbs or so, and worth about $1M-$2M? And the batches they are making now, in the mobile lab, are much smaller, so I'm guessing they have drawn off less than a gallon so far? Besides, it seems like the Declan is more interested in buying the business than the meth anyway, so being short by 0.1% of the volume probably wouldn't matter.

I always imagined Ferris going to college, focusing on studying biology, and eventually assisting the US Army in protecting NYC from a large radioactive iguana.
Didn't Dananananaykroyd call it quits this year?
Ba da ba ba ba, up votin' it.

I second the nomination for "The Happening" and also nominate "Transformers: Whatever the second one is called" (Transformers don't count as superhero's right?) although I caution that they should not be watched back to back because it may collapse the universe.
I take it back. I'm not sorry.
