Wow. While I'm happy to see this, I dunno if they should use The Replacements name. I kinda hope they don't do a reunion tour as well, it won't be the same.
Teagarden by Kaleidyscope
Sounds like Les Savy Fav
TBF at least Soundgarden are doing a new album and are writing new music, but yeah you could say Pavement are hypocrites for doing a money tour, but saying that I missed it, so I hope they do another one lol. I like it when bands re-form, as with the Pumpkins, as I never got a chance to see them before, but it's bands like say RATM, who've been back for years and haven't released a single song, yet regularly play festivals, are what annoy me.
I like Kettling, sounds a bit Pumpkin-esque.
Excellent news. The end of the year just got exciting!
One of the worst things I've heard in my life
Record a real album ya lazy hippie!
Ghost World's soundtrack is ace
What? No Strokes, Libertines, Radiohead, The Killers or Arctic Monkeys?! This couldn't possibly be an NME list!
Awesome. Really can't wait for the album now :D
That'll be a 0.0/10 review from Pitchfork for the new album then!
Billy's voice sound really odd here ha. Production is a bit off and it doesn't sound as good as it does live, but I really like it.
The NME have never heard of Titus Andronicus.
To be fair we did master it. :) But I prefer the alt rock scene in America in the 90s over the Britpop scene.
NME = No Musical Expertise
No Pavement, No MBV = no fucks given about this list. Only one Beck and Smashing Pumpkins too.
This so cliched lol. I'd rather listening to her grunting non-stop.
Sasquatch looks amazing. Really want to go there one year, they've always had great line ups.
But I don't live in the US, so I can't :(
No Replacements disgusts me.
Really, really good. You can feel this record will have a big stadium-style sound, heard some comments from Brian about it sounding quite Neil Young-esque. Which sounds awesome.
Wish that had been the Lollapalooza line up instead (well except for Skrillex)
That's pretty cool. Not that I thought they ever would. I guess if they can reform, then anyone can...
The guitars are decent, but the song is quickly forgettable I think.
Coming from the UK to Lolla this year, wanted to try something different. Really happy with Sigur Ros, Jack White, M83, really hoping for Beck and Smashing Pumpkins as well.
Well I saw them in London last year and the new songs sounded great. So I have high hopes for it!
Worst R&L line up ever! Shins, Cure, ATD-I, Gaslight Anthem that's it. Rest of it is just boring repeats and awful bands for 14-year-olds.
Homerpalooza should have been Number One! Possibly my favourite Simpsons episode, pure genius.
