There are a few jokes that my dad would tell me growing up that, no matter how many times he said it, would always make me laugh. One was when he would make a phone call (this worked better in the days before caller ID and omnipresent cell phones) and the person on the other end would say "hello" my dad would then say "Yes, hello. Is this the person to whom I am speaking?" It STILL makes me laugh, right now in fact. Very heartily. Another joke was, when watching a film, and in a scene with TONS of extras, my dad would say "look, that's me right there!" Never failed to make me laugh. RIP dad. Rest in peace. Oh wait... he's still alive. Nevermind.
Apparently peanut butter is kosher!!
According to her wiki, her second single Price Tag "remained at number-one for two exclusive weeks." I don't know why I find that so funny.
Not so much "dancing" as it is "general milling around" to a bad song.
She's not dancing; she's signing "The Safety Dance."
Fuck! 2 1/2 Men. I've never seen the show.
And that paper is clearly Charlie Sheen's 3 1/2 Men contract!
This is off topic, but the comment sections on Videogum are literally the only comment section on the planet worth reading. Case in point: I reached the end of this comment section, and I tried looking below it, to find the comment section. The comment section reads so well, and often provides the biggest laugh of my day, that I was actually looking for an AV Club style comment section below it. AND IT WASN'T THERE! I love videogum.
Let's have a Movie Title Bland-a-Thon (must contain the word you and/or me and/or us and/or they): Anyone But You What's In It For Me? ...And They Said It Wouldn't Last We Were Maid for Each Other (imagine the possibilities with THAT one!)
Night and... oh NEVERMIND!
I've always wanted to try one of these new fangled memes! Am I doing this right? http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt269/AspirinFeast/mahvelous.jpg
I knew pretty early on in this video that this guys dance routine wasn't going to involve any backflips.
"Gnarly Gnarlingtons" gets my vote for Phrase of the Year.
Where's Guided by Vodka with a robust "Come on over tonight!/We'll put on some Catt Butt/and do it up right?" reference?
I just checked; Jennifer didn't change her last name for show business. But Tila DID! Huh. :ends life:
I saw this on Jimmy Kimmel last night... Videogum is supposed to beat Big Media!!
I really hope none of you looked up any other CZW clips! Some of it can't be unseen.
I believe these two pictures actually represent the total combined population of all baby rhinos in Africa.
Men at Work: Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez are Garbage Men Who Shoot Their Neighbors With Pellet Guns, But It's Not as Compelling as it Sounds.
Blue Velvet: A Lighthearted Romp for the Whole Family
There's a Canadian in our dimebag... mon. We want free pot for life.
It Might Get Warm in Here
Woops, I didn't mean to respond to you R2D2! Sorry! Very funny post, however.
Anyone remember this guy? Late 90's rockabilly/hip hop! Waddya mean you don't remember?! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/ca/Jimmy_Ray_LP.jpg
Has this already been nominated? I haven't seen it, but I really don't think I need to: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c0/Theringer_poster.jpg/220px-Theringer_poster.jpg
Finally, Daniel Quinn gets some exposure!
I think Gabe might be The Man in the White Hat. I tried doing some research on this, but I couldn't find anything. Something about Stephen King's The Stand... he's gonna get us into the apocalypse, and it's gonna be AWESOME!
I'm gonna take a stand and say, for the record, I do NOT find rape funny. I do, however, find closed captioning flubs to be kind of funny. Also, you have valid points.
Just by chance, yesterday, BoingBoing disproved the idea that ever kitty on the internet is cute! http://www.boingboing.net/2011/01/20/DSC_0005mosaic.jpg Don't investigate any further if you've eaten in the past hour. I'm not kidding.
Rape can be funny! http://www.walyou.com/img/george_carlin_gadget.jpg
They were all knitting? They were ALL knitting! Oh, how ironic! Like tears on Turkish delight! Hey now, you know who would think that prank was genius? This guy! http://media.screened.com/uploads/0/5892/384400-rc_hank_kingsley_large.jpg
I like the article for the content. But I also hate the article because Roger used the same title as Jay Leno's autobiography! Shame on you Roger! Every article on Roger for the past two years has made me weepy. Now, back to the business of illuminating cinema!! Can't wait.
I'm not good with catchphrases, but here's an early screen shot of Anne's turn in the upcoming masterpiece... http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2008/09/CatmanLFI_450x450.jpg
Anyone else see it? http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt269/AspirinFeast/mcbane.jpg
