still very good trailer, i thought, though. as trailers go
i love community- i don't know many people who watch it, much less get it, but i wish more people did. 30 rock is the best, duh. i've given up on the office- enough already! and i tried again with outsourced last night- holy cow that show is just terrible.
I watched last night and definitely enjoyed it, but I find the entire Late Night platform a little tired (see what i did there? late night? tired?). Anyway, like Gabe, I find celebrity interviews especially boring (hooray, you're rich and famous, but I don't really care about your canned story!). Conan may be a particularly fun monologist, but the entire medium of the monologue at the beginning of the show itself feels overused. Maybe it's just me (and I think it's not just me- http://nymag.com/arts/tv/profiles/69366/), but I think Jimmy Fallon is the only Late Night personality who is really innovating. (Gabe already said this, but I just wanted to throw my support behind Jimmy and highlight that great NYMag article about him). All of that said, I really liked the studio, and the Conan and Andy dialog WAS really fun. The show has some palpable promise. Best of luck, Conan, but I probably won't be tuning in except for some fun internet recaps.
haha THANK YOU, SHELLBOMBER- i'm retarded

hahaha i love her triumphant return after it goes black i was watching it on mute, so i thought it was over, but THEN she comes BACK!
must have background with that's what she said and trampoline accident database index (TWSSATADI)
it's called the iron lotus- it was popular in north korea until an unfortunate accident...
that money wasn't wasted at all- it went straight into the economy- local radio and TV stations, newspapers, magazines, campaign workers- i loved watching meg whitman and linda mcmahon and sharron angle lose, because the economy benefited wonderfully from their campaigns, and yet we don't have to live with their horribly misguided choices- everybody wins! except kentucky- you guys have rand paul to deal with now- yikes
You know, I ALSO wondered why characters in Zombie Apocalypse movies don't ever seem to have seen Zombie Apocalypse movies. And maybe I've not seen enough Zombie Apocalypse movies, but nobody even thinks to call them Zombies! You'd think that you'd want to compact the knowledge that we've collected from these Zombie Apocalypse movies!
that guide to why a zombie outbreak would fail is amazing
Yeah that is kind of yikes-y. However, they have nobody to run. Romney? Palin? Boehner? I don't think any of them can energize even close to a majority. I think Obama's second term is virtually assured, barring some major world event.
Yeah the second term thing is very possible, but I think he'll want to energize the gay voters to GET him to his second term And you forgot that Obama has a secret Muslim agenda, duh!
sorry to get all seriousgum in here
Obviously, here we can all agree that the people featured in this video are pretty ignorant and misguided, but it should also be noted that they are a part of an increasingly small minority. Gay marriage is one of a few causes that is swiftly and steadily moving forward, as the polls pretty clearly indicate that the people generally don't have a problem with equal rights for citizens unless it's painted as some sinister wedge issue (read: 2004 Presidential election) (http://gay.americablog.com/2010/09/another-poll-show-majority-support.html). Within the next two years, it's probable that even the President will fully endorse marriage equality (http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2010/10/president_obama_getting_closer.html). Obviously there's still room for discussion, but seemingly the question of gay marriage is barely functional as a political issue anymore as I really believe it's just a short matter of time before it becomes a national reality. There have certainly been set-backs, but unlike many other hot button issues, gay marriage does seem to be on a clear and well-paved path to progress. The advancement of gay rights in the last 15 years alone is enough to be considered a barometer of progress in civil rights and I think we should be proud of the growth the American people have made. Maybe I'm just a starry-eyed optimist, but I think the sweeping improvement here is a real indication of the health of tolerance at the heart of Americans.
i am going to be travis barker, complete with real mohawk and fake tattoos :-) and my band (which is a 90s cover band called The Bayside Tigers) is playing a show at king's head tavern near union sq on saturday night- it's free and halloweeny and there will be fun 90s tunes and live band karaoke and dancing- if you want come party! sorry for the plug! ha

what is this? there's plenty of intelligent discourse on the internet regarding mad men, and i normally look forward to videogum's comical-but-actually-insightful recaps, so why do we have child's (fake or real, whatever) boring synopsis? maybe i'm not getting something, but who wants this?
here here, Ray sucks
this is literally beautiful when watched over "real love" by delorean :-)
