this is cool i guess because vinyl sales are doing well and all that but does anybody else think it kind of sucks that it takes a stadium-sized, super-marketed bona fide fuckin rock star who just HAPPENS to have a soft spot for vinyl and a major obsession with being the first one to ever put crazy gimmicks onto a vinyl record to make this many first week vinyl sales? he's even like super proud that he's the FIRST ONE EVER to sell that many records in one week. megalomania man.
This is excellent. But I have to agree with the person above that this isn't reminiscent of Bon Iver just because of the layered vocoded harmonies. Imogen Heap completely dominated that game with "Hide and Seek" (well before Jason Derulo piggybacked) before Justin Vernon had started Bon Iver. Justin Vernon doesn't get to just lay claim to atmospheric harmony-laden pop music! And I'm sure he would agree, but the music writers are doing it for him.
I had a lot of fun reading these comments but am still just mostly excited about the new Fucked Up album rather than Michael finally getting banned. These comments can turn things, quick-like.
Still though, someone with no kids commenting on parenting styles and even passive-aggressively threatening to call Social Services is pretty FUCKED UP. I won't even get into why marijuana shouldnt be considered a drug but needless to say, a dude who spends time in a vape bar getting high should not be viewed as some type of crack-smoking negligent ne'er-do-well. That's just inaccurate. Weed is great, and would probably make some idiots better parents.
if youre worried she'll be frightened away from the rest of the tour, maaaaaaaybe don't put her on blast with this post? or at least disable the comments section.
