I cannot imagine what this means for Death Cab for Cutie. Chris Walla has been integral in shaping and defining the band's sound for many years and his presence will definitely be missed, though there's no doubt that Death Cab hasn't been themselves for a little while now. This is rough news for sure, but I am hopeful for the future.
Man of Steel: A Dark Knight In King Arthur's Court
Man of Steel: THIS. IS. BATMAN. (300 reference) Man of Steel: Back Door Teen Batman Man of Steel: Shrek 5: Batman is the Donkey Now
walt can't say anything that actually implicates him. he tried to stay mysterious and never actually admit to being heisenberg!
Shit, after Daft Punk, Justin Vernon's name is like the second most common. Good for him, seriously.
that's what i thought as well. less vocal effect, and more of a "Bon Iver" vocal range.
Without a doubt, The National.
they played Grass Widows too, and it's really great http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/iron-and-wine-grass-widows/n36032/
I'm pretty sure Plans needs to be a lot higher. Maybe it's my nostalgia talking, but that record is lyrically so great and so fucking sad. Ben knocked it out of the park on that record. "What Sarah Said" and "Brothers on a Hotel Bed" make it a fantastic record.
I think they're totally new, because the reverb on Ben Gibbard's voice is totally unlike the reverb on Give Up. There's too much here, whereas there it was very little.
great bass line, so simple but so effective.
does anyone think the guitarist started a little fast? halfway through he got it and slowed it to the correct tempo, but frank was having a hard time keeping up in the beginning. there is no shame in giving a little signal to slow down if you're not comfortable yet. it was great though, starting from the halfway point.
sounds just like robert downey jr so i think we need to investigate THAT.
Beth/Rest was a little clumsy in the beginning but I IMMEDIATELY loved that buildup and ending. So great.
Danny Devito WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS!
THAT IS A HYUNDAI! The Correcting Dead.
this is definitely ok.
The mixing of this song makes it so hard to watch it like it's a "live" performance.
