This Note's For You isn't his greatest song, but how has Neil Young's rejection of commerciality aged badly? I don't mean to burst anyone's poptimistic bubble, but not cheapening your music with corporate sponsorship is a pretty admirable trait.
I like that new Bob Dylan album but, c'mon, when it comes to the old dudes, Neil Young puts far more passion into his music. 'Psychedelic Pill' is as great a record as one could expect from an elder statesman of rock.
