My personal purchasing arch happens to follow the overall arch just because of when I happened to get into vinyl, the then spent a ton of money building up my collection. Now, 500 LPs later, my list of albums I want & don't yet have on vinyl is so much shorter that a couple years ago, so I purchase far less these days. Also, 2016 hasn't been all that strong for great albums in my opinion. Anyway, fascinating article.
Loving this, thanks!
Great songs. Make it 6 tho, and add the new Tycho!
Man I dig the guitars, I just can't get into the vocals. So average.
Love it. Who else entertains like this these days? Also, is she crying at the end?
Get ready for peak ubiquitousness by the end of the summer, a la Pharell's Happy.
It's not super ambitious, but I definitely find it enjoyable.
Eh, pretty forgettable demo imo. Could be any random joe in their basement.
This is really good. Stoked for more.
Mew's "And The Glass-Handed Kites" on vinyl, finally!
Is March Fools Day a thing?
Their early stuff was good. I was into them before they blew up. ;)
"Sorry Rostam, everyone but you wants to play this Bernie rally".... ..."Well, I'm out."
I fully agree with Father John Misty's take on twitter.
I'm stoked on some new Wintersleep!
Solid List. "Coffee" a bit higher tho. And Sia's "Alive" should be somewhere in there, like in the 20's.
Does he mean fucking as an adjective or verb?
Both The Japanese House EPs were my favorite EPs of the year.
Tame Impala and Coldplay with gorilla music videos the same week.
I can dig track 1 & 2; the rest is pretty boring, even for her.
Erykah Badu remix tho.
I'm pretty stoked on these first 3 songs!
1000x better than the King Kunta vid.
Jack U + Bieber – “Where Are You Now” !!!
The music is cool, but her voice is so weak & vanilla, sounds like a 14 year old homeschooler.
"This video is private."
Battle Born both opens (Flesh & Bone, and Runaways) and closes (title track) super strong, but in between, the guts of it don't rise to the same levels. After their first record, the rest of The Killers' albums certainly have high highs and low lows.
Another vote for Hop Along. Another vote for Turnover. Can I vote twice? Wait, are we voting?
Disciples is available on US iTunes now btw. Yeah, about a third as long as I would prefer it too.
Oh I dig it. But any chance this is a sample clip of the song. Like this clip fades out but the actual song is longer?
Rad song. Can't wait to hear a higher-quality file.
