American Horror Story lost me last season with "Asylum" -- I thought they went totally overboard. Serial killers, aliens, mental hospital, zombies, it was too much. Say what you want about "Coven" but it is much more focused (WITCHES) while still retaining the broad melodrama of the original season. Last night's episode was great, although I think Stevie Nicks should probably stick to singing.
Shia cribbed this apology from a similar one that Charles Burns (look him up) skywrote to Daniel Clowes back in the 90s. Also happy new year, everyone!
"A compelling class. Though James Franco does a serviceable job as Professor James Franco, it's the supporting cast of befuddled undergrads that really steals the show. Will Franco provide an appropriately inspiring locker room moment prior to the final exam to warrant all this masturbatory tomfoolery? You'll just have to sign up for the course to find out. Wowee! A successful wedding, a failed public proposal, and a yearning for marriage ALL IN ONE WEEK? Who died and turned Videogum into Romancegum? I prefer to come here for trampoline accidents.
I'm also watching Hello Ladies...I find Stephen Merchant charming. Yeah the plotlines are predictable but I like that it is kind of a "Curb Your Enthusiasm" starring people with a lot less money. Each episode has had a number of good laughs although sometimes the "cringe comedy" gets a little over-the-top. (Again, like Curb.) Oh and the roommate is adorable.
