He’s just another spoiled and privileged celebrity offspring. His Dad was a big thing in the 80’s

There are a few fun relics of the mashup era. The Grey Album was def the best, and I remember another mashing Jay's American Gangster soundtrack with Zeppelin that was pretty cool.
My fav was definitely Fela Soul, which obvisously mashed up Fela Kuti and De La into some tasty results:

Lazaretto always had a quarantine reference. As noted in the article above, Jack incorporated lyrics from a 1920s blues song about the 1918 flu into Ball & Biscuit (which might be the most Jack White thing ever)
I was close on the lineup. Looks like it will be the mighty Daru Jones instead of Carla on drums

I've seen Jack perform live multiple times over the last 20 years, both with Meg and without. Never once have I heard anyone describe a show as "dreary", lol. Love him or hate him, Jack is motherfuckin' showman. Respect the craft.
I would be genuinely shocked if I saw Meg on that stage. I think the most likely scenario would be Jack with Carla Azar on drums and Dominic Davis on bass. Maybe a Stripes medley of some kind, then maybe a cover. Definitely curious to see what they come up with on super short notice.
'On the Beach' and 'Zuma' are stone cold classics
Really hoping this archives thing gets around to 'Ragged Glory' as that album is in desperate need of a reissue
