Completely agree. The Voidz make pop music, listen to how damn catchy that chorus is! Sure it's rather saturated in a wacky aesthetic but so much modern music has a bit of that. I think they do it in a more innovative and interesting way but it's truly not that weird.
Absolutely. I'm sick of people dismissing Koz as "rambling." He writes about life in one of the most truly honest and bare ways of any artist in the current zeitgeist.
I continue to love what Julian is up to with The Voidz. It's not really that weird either AB,AB,C all pretty catchy melodies. It's just dressed up a little odd.
Ya totally, We can't have every track that comes out now with pitch shifted vocals. This song is great nonetheless, but people are going to forget what a real vocal sounds like.
Honestly, how do brand think they can get away with this stuff? Sure maybe some design intern submitted the design but it must go through a legal process as well.
Sure a little unfair for Haxan and Triangle to make that accusation. HC does have some very distinct sounds and ways of using them but there is no doubt saying that his music is influenced by countless horror movies and spooky trailers like this one was probably influenced by.
Nonetheless it does point out the fact that there aren't any indie musicians associated with this service. Just celebs.
