Why are people still talking about the Grammy's?
I think that is the only shirt Mac DeMarco owns.
Burger Records is my local record store and they put out a lot of good cassettes. Good people, too.
Same thing happened to me and about 30 other people during Radiohead at Coachella. Three rows from the front the crowds are so tight and the fans are crazy.
So is the new album happening this year or what? It would be fitting since this has been such a good year for music.
Does this qualify me for a Guinness World Record for shortest comment to get # 1 on Shut Up, Dude?
MCA come and rock the sure shot
Watching Explosions in the Sky, M83, and The Black Keys, all kill their sets last night makes the decision of who to see next weekend even more difficult.
I can see how my previous comment might be perceived as hating on a great talent. There's nothing wrong with younger generations appreciating someone who was a great talent before they were born, but I'm facebook friends with about 400 eighteen years olds and my news feed is filled with updates about how sad they are that she's dead when in reality they are posting just so they can get some "likes." Disgusting.
And now everyone who wasn't even alive yet during the peak of her career will pretend they are genuinely sad she is dead, go download all her albums from iTunes, and act like they were huge fans all along. Michael Jackson syndrome.
I don't think anyone thinks Joy Division is "underground."
Nope. My point exactly.
It didn't sound good, but she was obviously nervous. I hardly think one SNL performance is going to make or break her career.
Wild Flag and The Growlers.
I know their tour dates already ruled them out as headliners, but I'm still relieved that Coldplay won't be there.
An LA show would be nice. Closest one to me besides Coachella is still 400 miles away.
I'm feeling pretty optimistic about this year's music.
