Maybe they just have a really good sense of humor, like when Black Flag used to dedicate Six Pack to Minor Threat when they'd play together.
Your mind will not be ready...
Start with Celtic Frost Monotheist, then move on to Triptykon's first album, then this...
Imma come outta Stereogum comment retirement/banishment (has anyone broken my downvote record btw) for this one. This album is so fuckin full on mindshatteringly dark that I find myself staring without blinking for my computer moniter for 15 mintues at a clip while listening to this at work...possibly the highest compliment I can give. I can't wait to crowd surf up to the stage at MDF so I can give Tom G "Best Ugh In the Game" Warrior a hug, because that dude is clearly in a fucked up place and needs some PMA lest he spiral into the true darkness never to return to make another album this fucking heavy.

Fire code is the technical reason most get tickets for. Also you are charging money for something you need a permit and pay taxes to the municipality for. It's still kinda bullshit but yeah in the most technical sense you are breaking the law.
Same, they wouldn't let me buy Evil Empire without my parents and my my listened to one track in the store (The Wall chain used to have a listening station) and I believe her exact response was, "Oh hell no". Wasn't until I got my hands on BMG's infamous $14 CD's for a dollar until I was able to get my hands on it. Eventually came back around to S/T in high school but the magic was gone. Evil Empire will always have a special place on the shelf though.
We listened to that album every night at the pizza shop I worked at in college, never a big ween fan but love that record.
...Certainly not post hurricane blackouts, earthquakes, and nor easter snow storms here in NJ. Pretty sure I saw someone at one of the shelters Donny, so the rest of the country really has no excuse.
To busy actually voting...it takes the effort of at least 15 thumbs up/downs on stereogum
Haven't been around in a while and -6 now is good enough to get a bottom rated comment? Shit this week would have been perfect for a troll bottom five sweep.
...Unearthly Trance, Kylesa, Austerity Program, Thou, Watain, Torche...the list goes on and on, Twilight is only note worthy because of it's lineup.
I wrote Michael Nelson in for President yesterday
As I said, I don't work there. However, I did work at a Best Buy and put out the new music in college, and there is a difference between a hard and soft street date.
Pig Destroyer - The Diplomat http://youtu.be/d6dycCqqZS0 should have been number 1
"Diazapam is a hell of a drug"
To clarify, I don't work there or anything so I don't know if that's the exact reason, but if it's not it should be.
Vintage Vinyl in NJ gives no fucks about street dates, they put stuff on the shelfs when they get it, sometimes a full week before hand, for this exact purpose.
