On the country tip - drag queen Trixie Mattell just released an album called "One Stone," a follow-up to her EP "Two Birds." It's good a poppy and kind of unexpected considering a lot of the drek popular drag queens release.

Fake rap by white guys is hard not to consider racist. We're all better than this. Sam Ray yelled at me online once because he opened his questions on tumblr and I asked a question that I didn't see was already asked (apparently several times). So I hate both of these guys.

I have a hard time taking this seriously. It's fine to ask these questions but I have a hard time caring about what two people who have reaped the benefits of "indie" music talking about whether or not it's actually "indie" or the state of the scene or whatever. If there's something wrong with it, well you contributed to it, ding-dongs. Also, Dave's question is stupidly pedantic and pretentious. I guess I'm also saying that exciting music exists out there - if you're bored you're just not looking hard enough. You rely too much on people telling you what to listen to and don't look for it yourself.
