I can totally dig this list, I'd just have put "Home" somewhere on the list. "Home" is This is Happening's "All My Friends". Still, very, very good list. I miss LCD.
I've always thought Living in Colour makes a way better closer than Loneliness when it comes to winter of mixed drinks tracks. Not a single song from the greys on that setlist, either, that's a bummer. I always hope to get lucky and get either yawns or square 9 when I see them. (March 30th in Detroit!)
I think people are too hard on Winter of Mixed Drinks. Admittedly, I'm a HUGE FR fan, but I just don't get all the hate on that record. I don't see a HUGE jump from WoMD to Pedestrian Verse, which is why I don't understand why people have been friendly to PV and not WoMD. Is it because WoMD followed Midnight Organ Fight? Plz explain.
I was fifteen when this came out and just getting into my "first love" relationship. We listened to this when we snuck out of our houses to see each other. If you ever want to see a 25 year old man cry, come find me at the Detroit date of the reunion tour.
