WHERE WAS COREY HAIM?
I love this video. I first saw it three days and it's been playing nonstop on my compy. Makes me remember how excited I was about everything back in the day.
I heard it was going to be our generation's Showgirls.
Driving Princess Daisy.
It's great, and the line isn't that long. Efficient loading. Also, the line leads you through all of Hogwarts and you see classrooms and talking portraits and stuff. Awesome and not boring at all.
I just went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter park at Universal Studios and it was amazing. I thought I could be an adult about it, but I cried during the ride it was so exciting. The trailer looks great, even if I didn't really like the last book at all.
Somebody caught up on the third season of Mad Men.
I think those scenes seem more poignant in retrospect. I was definitely quite bored with the first two episodes of The Wire.
"I get raped down, but I get raped again, you're never gonna rape me now"--chumbawamba
Season 2 is the white people season. Season 2 has a picture of Avon Barksdale in their pocket.
I think what is most interesting about this video stylistically is its use of the slaughterhouse setting, recalling the early Soviet film of Sergei Eisenstein, juxtaposing the cows being butchered in the slaughterhouse with the army butchering the striking proletariat, to represent their own music revolution. Good use of film history, juggalos!
I feel cleansed after this weekend. I took some tips from the GOOP newsletter: This is what I ate every day: http://goop.com/newsletter/15/miso_soup.jpg Let's all Gwyneth detox! (What if I was secretly a GOOP advertiser?)
Gwyneth "visited an organic grocery store staffed by "hipsters" " in Nashville. It revolutionized her thought that organic grocery stores were staffed by British hipsters, a totally different breed.
Preach, Mr. Hausfrau (I couldn't figure out how to reply to your comment?). Even though I don't comment very often, this whole situation has left a very bad taste in my mouth. It just feels so hostile, it's really discouraged me from trying to participate even more in the Vgum community. If I'm not allowed to unite silly and serious here, then where can I go? Eeek.
What is the protocol for monsters who don't comment enough? Eeek, extra awkward. ?uestlove might make this party a little too fancy for me. I'm gonna eat Cheetos in my sweatpants at home while watching That 70's Show reruns.
Is she though? Lady Gaga is making bank, which means her record company is probably counting on her to make bank, which probably means they really want to or do control what she does. She's a freakin' pop star--it's very rare that they are really in total control. The weirdness doesn't mean she's just "doing what she wants," it's equally an image.
I thought everyone had decided to repeat every single one of their comments from the last Monster's Ball into the new Monster's Ball as some sort of postmodern commentary and upvoted all of them. Soooo...good job everyone else.
