I haven't liked their last few albums at all (loved most of All That You Can't Leave Behind though), but I'm still very interested in hearing about their new singles whenever they arrive. I'm not particularly interested in their other news or song debuts unless it's a single, part of the Spider-Man musical, or particularly good...

I love it! It's like The Joshua Tree mixed with Darkness on the Edge of Town, yet completely original!

Also agreed, The Monitor was my favorite album of the year so far and certainly at least top-10 material! I absolutely love a decent chunk of Avi Buffalo's album (Summer Cum, Jessica, What's In It For), but as a whole, it's not even close in quality to High Violet by The National or Beach Fossils' album in my opinion

Just watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape and it's easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It just isn't entertaining. At all. (except for the 10 seconds or so that John C. Reilly is in it, but that's just because he's John C. Reilly) It's kind of like if Napoleon Dynamite was a drama, but with far blander characters. A miserable, pointless movie.

I have a feeling he'd love it.. Ever hear The Replacements' cover of I Got You Babe? It's sloppily fantastic (just like all their covers of songs) (Obviously, Unsatisfied has a lot more emotion behind it, but I think Courtney does an interesting take on it)
