ok so cool whatever. i found this site when i was like 20 and burnt out on the av club. the first post i read was gabe slagging off on JUNO and i fell in love instantly. i was here through a lot of the weird dumb crap thats not even worth mentioning here and some truly transcendent stuff that i still laugh about to this day. eventually i drifted out after i became a lot more earnest and the cynicism was getting too much to bear daily. even tho i left thankfully the truly wonderful friendships i made here maintained, and i still consider those ppl very important to me. im rambling, but i guess im saying even tho we probably disagree on a lot bc of u and this site i was able to meet some beautiful people and create lasting relationships that for ive been wanting my whole life. thanks and have fun at dinner gabe (i mean that with as much love as i can muster)

YES! One of the best parts about it is that is avoided what ended up killing Heroes (that it makes no effort to explain WHERE the powers come from or WHY they exist). There's pretty much zero mythos-building, so it leaves the focus on character development and slowing expanding the world the characters inhabit.
