Sucks when you try and put yourself out there and people just shit on you, and don't even listen before they judge. I been a fan for years stereogum, i'm not a troll. I hope at least one of you will enjoy my music, that's all I ever wanted.
Marla is a song from another time and place, It deserves to be on this list. Also Campfire was another euphoric song that just takes me too another place.
Couldn't agree more. Music shouldn't be a competition
Its been a great year for new music, and so happy to see Hundred Waters on here, been following them ever since they came out. I have a new album out if any of you want to check it out, would love some feed back. All my music is free =) Really just happy too have listeners. My project is called "Vacant Minds." http://soundcloud.com/kylefreeland
Your opinion is lame already as it was, why the hell did you have to put a link on here for cubicles and Urinals.
Mentioned Fang island for the win
my thought exactly man. I just saw that the other day, pure awesomeness
The Acorns "No ghost" is amazing, should of made it on this list. If you haven't heard it you really need too. The Emeralds new Cd "Does it look like i'm here" is awesome as well, should of made it somewhere on here
Song of the year, this shit is really really good. Does anybody else agree?
Looks like a cover for a christmas album
Peta is like david fighting every (goliath) fast food chain in the world, yet they still find little shit to argue about. And just like Kidacomputerok said, who really gives a fuck what they have to say, what crediability do they have. Maybe Peta should mind they're own fucking bussiness, if they truly take their group seriously then they should go for the crucial things rather then bothering with a musician recording sounds.
That album art is amazing, can't wait to see these guys in toronto!
"It's a wonderful life" was the perfect record. He left a collection of songs that will sit heavy on alot of peoples heart, i'm truly sad about the music world loosing such a great person. Gold day and Sea of teeth will be songs that i'll always play. RIP
From the looks of it, no one likes Kesha's music, and as a person she seems about as smart and talented as wet diaper. Her and Lady Gaga look stupid, when did making music include puting star makeup on your face and dressing like edward scissor hands. She rhymes Mick Jagger with swagger.. enough said.
Pretty sure when he said “not looking to the past” he was talking about something else then cars. This kinda thing has been happening lately, dead artist being participated in random things. The result: Tv ads, people showing up in rock band like Kurt Cobain, John lennon, Johny Cash and just a couple of days ago "Smell like teen spirit" was used for a figure skater. They would all be doing backflips in there graves if they found out about any of this shit.
Really hope we'll hear some new material here soon, i'm curious to see what all of them can come up with collectively. I like the name though, alot better then the "????"
Joanna Newsoms going be playing a couple shows with Robin Pecknold from the fleet floxes, so pretty excited to see how that turns out. Wonder how they're voices would sound together, worth a collaboration maybe? I'm listening to her new album right now, sounding really great so far and i'm only half way through it.
