The silent credits were really chilling.
I think the season gets better as it goes along, the first few episodes were my least favorites!
My day has been so-so. Last night I felt like I was coming down with something and went to bed at like 9pm, slept through the night and still feel exhausted today. Also, today REALLY feels like Friday and it's throwing me off! I am really really excited about Arrested Development this weekend though. Are people doing anything fun for it? I am doing a little something called "sit around my pjs and watch all 15 episodes in a row".
I am so Team Chaough it's not even funny.
It's my full name said really fast and mumbly.
Today I played a game of air hockey against someone using their non-dominant hand, and I STILL lost.
Community was abysmal. I actually debated about turning it off.
My favorite from last night was Pete furiously clicking his remote.
I love how obtuse those previews are; you just know AMC makes them put something together and Weiner and co are pretty much just trolling everyone at this point.
Yes, it was supposed to be the real Draper's lighter. PFC Dinkins called him Lieutenant, which was Draper's rank. Dick Whitman was only a private. [insert Jon Hamm penis joke here]
I was really disappointed in Community too. The entire episode was insanely predictable, and I couldn't tell if that was part of the "trope" commentary or what, but either way it was not predictable in an enjoyable way.
AMC: HBO, but without the boobs.
Yeah, when the credits started to roll, I was like "wait... seriously?" I really wish Videogum was still doing Walking Dead recaps.
Season 5 is my favorite season so far. There, I said it.
Yeah I know, as soon as I posted I realized it didn't sound like a bad day at all! I guess any day can feel crummy when your face is packed with snot.
My day has been kinda crummy. I have a head cold so I slept in and did some work from home. During lunch I took a break and watched a documentary called "The Imposter" on Netflix, which I highly recommend. It's a pretty messed up story, but is really fascinating.
Ugh, I cannot wait until I can pull mine back. At this point I can barely clip it with bobby pins.
I tried to do it years ago, and failed hard. But that was during college when I didn't have a reliable hair stylist, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time around it won't be in a perma-awkward phase.
I also have occasional bad road rage! Which is weird because otherwise I'm a pretty low-key person, and I worry that it's like some sign that deep down I'm really rotten.
My day has been pretty good! I am growing out my pixie cut, which is kind of torturous, but I'm getting a trim after work to get at some of the mullety pieces in the back.
I had a leftover baked chicken cutlet with quinoa/rice blend for lunch today and it was the highlight of my day. Not that the rest of my day was bad or anything, it was just a really satisfying lunch.
I have no pullovers, so that's perfect! I have a lot of plum/purple in my wardrobe though. I identify very much with the scene in 30 Rock when Liz is looking through her monotonously colored closet and is like "Navy, Gray, Maroon, Gray... am I depressed?!"
I have about 5 brown cardigans (that's my lady problem), I'll trade you?
I had a REALLY frustrating day at work today. Just a tip guys: don't ever send a sound designer a youtube link and suggest they use a snippet of audio from it. It's insulting for a number of different reasons.
Oh that makes me happy to hear! I just bought tickets to see them in May.
Tiffany's story WAS pretty amazing. We're talking about the 80's pop singer, right?
I'm pretty much the only person I've interacted with at work who's wearing red today. I feel like a chump.
All week I've been thinking it's a day later than it actually is. Today feels so much like a Friday, which is doubly frustrating because I'm really looking forward to this weekend. 1- My mom will be visiting, 2- Sunday is my birthday and 3- I have Monday off!
I dunno, from the ingredients that sounds like it could maybe be good? The non-thawing part is kinda creepy though.
Oh man, I hope they don't come back too! Glad yours seemed to be just a random occurrence.
I woke up this morning super dizzy, and it didn't go away for hours, which was scary. But I got my state tax refund, and celebrated by paying off my credit card and buying some cute clothes I've had my eye on for a while. I should get my federal return soon and 100% of that will go to student loan payments (boooooooo)
YES! I recently got my first pair of glasses (pictured) and I spent my first few days gaping at far away trees and buildings like a complete dope.
Potato soup is my very favorite comfort food.
Oh! But one good thing that I forgot to mention (I'm really bad at remembering everything I want to say before I hit submit, you guys) is that I'm making potato soup for myself tonight and that will be really great.
