Speakerboxx/The Love Below is their best album. Next to Kid A, it's my facvorite album.
I will agree with “Spottieottiedopaliscious” being a glaring omission. It's just too buttery smooth to leave off ANY list.
Word up. I enjoy select songs from all 4 of their albums and praise how they tried to experiment a little more starting with First Impressions...but Room on Fire? That's the ultimate shit. There's not a bad song on that album.
Bullshit. Anyone who has lost /her hearing can search the internet for sheet music for almost any song. On the other hand, not all people can read sheet music.
And yes, I'm bitter, because I'm a big fan of Beck and have been waiting for a new album for a while now. Most musicians should NOT do this.
I gotta feel at some point he'll record these songs and put out the album as a normal and sane release.
Chris Cornell called to defend Frank Ocean. He said you're not allowed to rip his look off anymore.
"The maids come around too much
Parents aren't around enough
uh uh uhhhhh"
This is a pretty dope album, but I just don't understand the super hype machine behind it. "Super Rich Kids", "Bad Religion", "Forrest Gump", "Lost", "Sweet Life" are my favorite tracks, but I don't think there is anything on here that is utterly mind blowing. Some tracks like "Crack Rock", "Sierra Leone", and "Pilot Jones" do nothing for me. I However, the uniqueness of his music is refreshing. I still think I might prefer the Weeknd for this type of "alternative R & B" or whatever you want to call it, but it's still better than most nonsense out right now.
Liek I posted earlier though, I can't get enough of "Super Rich Kids".
