YES YES YES taco I second TWIN PEAKS! Even though I've already seen it it would be nice to discuss it since none of my friends or anyone I know has ever seen it :( . Just this past weekend I was helping my mom chop wood and I was holding the logs like a weirdo and I was like, hey mom look I'm the log lady ah nevermind...

On an unrelated note, I'm pretty psyched the snus ads are gone and are replaced with Bing people eating giant slices of pizza. Much better choice!!
AGREED! Reality Bites was before my time (being 5 is HARD!) so watching it later on as an adult gave me a clear understanding of just how bad that movie is. I think my biggest problem with that movie is that Winona's character makes THE WORST CHOICES, which I guess 20 somethings do often? But both Reality Bites and Garden State end at a too convenient time, like we know these characters are wrong together and will probably start arguing on the ride home or something.
BOOOOOO YOU!!! However, I will not downvote, only for the fact that I have beef with this movie because so much from the book is left out. I understand that minor things have to be cut sometimes, but the movie leaves out Scarlett's FIRST TWO KIDS!! I hope you change your mind Jawn, after all, tomorrow is another day.
Being a 'nice guy' and being good at making documentaries are two different things. I'd say most documentaries could be covered in DUH Aficionado. Most stem from 'things most people already know' and then delve into the details about said thing, that we were previously unaware of. Spurlock has good intentions, but bad logic. In the case of Super Size Me, eating McDonalds every day didn't prove anything. We all knew he was going to get sick. If you eat anything all day every day for an extended period of time you're going to get sick. Why not just make a doc about the food industry in general like Food Inc. ( not my favorite, but more effective IMO) He tries to do too much of the campy, tongue in cheek, entertainment spin which just ends up being off-putting.
ah I wasn't finished vgum!
...uality about Chanks was that he was KIND OF hot sometimes, but I don't even think that's true anymore... Here's some vintage Haze!

What a DWEEB.
I agree, although I am fond of this Tina Fey quote, "Only in comedy is an obedient white girl from the suburbs a diversity candidate" which takes kind of a different spin on the whole thing.
Oh thank god Starlee, when I saw the title of this post I thought you were going to talk about how great this movie was and then I wouldn't have anything nice to say...especially because it was advertised on Videogum a while back I think most monsters were already forced to watch this garbage trailer.
I have no jokes to make, Nate Dogg was the best and I'm genuinely sad his life was cut short. I wish this was RIP Nate Dogg OR pictures of dogs instead...

I never saw your episode (that I'm aware of at least) but I think some monsters might get a kick out of it if you wrote up a whole post on your cash cab experience. I'd love to hear about the logistics of it all, like did you just walk up to a random cab, get in, and BOOM. LIGHTS. MUSIC. BEN. BAILEY.

Did you know what the cash cab was at the time? Did you have to sign lots of paperwork beforehand? Is there some producer or someone in the back seat or a car full of Cash Cab suits following you? Where are the cameras? Did you really ask a random person on the street a question, or does that person have to be secretly TV screened and waiver-ed etc? Did they take taxes out of the money you got in your check? Do they give you ANY cash? Is Ben Bailey a good driver?
This guy knows what Ja's talking about...

Liz: Please, do not bother Jack. He is in a weird place right now.
Tracy: B.B. Jackson's condo?
Liz: No.
Tracy: A children's clothing store in Dubai?
Liz: Just stop guessing!
