Beautiful ending to an amazing series. -Walt dying in the one place he felt alive. -Jesse screaming and crying with excitement finally being free. -Jesse's wide eyed baby face making that box he so cherished cut back to his chained imprisonment KILLED ME! This season has been filled with so many hand-over-mouth HOLY CRAP moments that it makes sense that the finale wouldn't pack too many punches that we didn't already know might come (killing the Aryans, the Ricin for Lydia). It tied up loose ends and concluded one of the greatest television shows of all time in spectacular fashion. Thanks Vince, cast and crew.
This show is so freaking perfect. The way the theme music kicked in during that last scene...ugh I can't wait till next Sunday. My heart leapt as Jesse was running for his life, but quickly sank as I realized there is NO WAY he was getting out :(. DId anyone else cry major tears when Todd killed Andrea?? OY WITH THIS SHOW!!!
I actually read the 40 days of dating blog from day 1 and enjoyed every bit of it. I eagerly awaited each day (they updated the blog day by day) and couldn't wait to see how it ended. It was interesting and very well written. Maybe it's because I'm a graphic designer, but I also loved the visual aspects of it, the typography, videos...

Unfortunately I was never able to go to any of the Los Angeles Monster meet ups but I have felt an odd sense of community here because of the hilarious, thoughtful, intelligent and sometimes beautiful words you’ve expressed here at Videogum. I’ve tried to replicate those feelings at A.V Club but it just does not compare (they’re weird over there!)I can’t count how many times I’ve laughed at your old man rants, and overall outlook on things. Although it does feel like Internet Papa Gabe is leaving forever I absolutely cannot wait to see, read, and laugh at everything you have up your isleeve. To say you’ll be missed is an understatement. I hate when people threaten to abandon something just because there is an abrupt change but I honestly don’t know if I’ll stick around because your writing has been what has kept me around (post Lindsay and all). I do know that I have a lot of TWMOAT to revisit! I once applied for a Videogum internship that alas, I didn’t get but you wrote such a short to the point and sweet let down letter that, when I think about it, pretty much sums up how many of us feel about you. In it you wrote, “Hi, I'm really sorry that it too me so long to get in touch about the Videogum Internship. We were overwhelmed by the response, and it was also the holidays, and we are lazy, and also stupid. Thank you very much for your interest! Unfortunately, we can only hire so many interns, and by so many interns, I mean one intern, and by hire I mean award college credit for menial labor. In any case, the decision has been difficult, but we have gone with a different candidate. I'm also really sorry that this is a form letter. Oh well. You know that in my heart I love YOU the best. Thanks again. I hope you keep reading Videogum. G. We do love you the best Gabe and we await your firsthand accounts of the best of the best trampoline accidents and beyond. 
Is this where I say goodbye?? I'm guessing no. I wanna say a good goodbye, I'll assume it's later. Help me Dr. Zaius!!
No. If this is the last caption contest, why don't YOU, Gabriel Des Moines Delahaye caption it?!
One of my AAAALLLL time favorite lines Gabe has deliverd in his pain staking task in viewing garbage for our amusement, came from a review of the Freddie Prinze Jr and Julia Stile crapfest Down to You. Speaking about a reaction Prizes' character had of Stiles characters "stunning outfit": "But even when it is not trying to be clever, and is just sticking to the most rudimentary of romantic cliches, even then it makes no sense. Take for example this classic moment: Wow? Wow what? I know you are not saying wow about her JC Penny outfit. I know you are not saying wow because of her resemblance to a 47-year-old lesbian heading down to city hall to take part in the public city planning committee meeting to determine whether or not a Whole Foods will be approved for a land grant and zoning clearances. WOW." Uggggghhhh don't go Gabbbe!!
Not sure anyone's going to miss Gabe more than this guy: http://melificent.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/topher-grace-20050915-71514.jpg I guess I should save my sentiments for the goodbye Friday post, but seriously Gabe...iTEARS !!
I hate to make this PopCultureGum but she is MARRIED...and she wore her wedding dress was black because ya know...being the WORST does not stop on your wedding day! http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2013/stylewatch/blog/130722/avril-lavigne-1-300x400.jpg
I'm sorry but this is all kinds of good. I love it!
My bad. http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/ab160/musicgeekers/iheartrob_awk.jpg
Yeah, I guess it really isn't possible to have it both ways.
@KiDCHAIR It's a delicate dance of discretion that I'm sure no one would follow. Personally I like to be as discreet as possible and take as few pics as I can. Unfortunately that just isn't the case for most ppl at shows.
OMG. Are you kidding me? At what point did I say I would be posing taking pictures of myself? I hate that crap at a show. I am talking about taking a few pics of the actual ARTIST. I flew from LA to San Fran to see She and Him, spent money on hotel etc..so yeah I'm taking a pic of them (stealth mind you). I was not speaking of the obnoxious crap that goes with ppl taking a pic with their friends during every song during the show. How can you dictate how every person at show interprets enjoying a show. Maybe someone wants to close their eyes and take it all in. Maybe someone wants to snap a shot of a moment of the artist. When you start trying to control what seeing a band means to that particular person, that is when I feel, it's WRONG. You can't assume I'm not getting the most out of the lighting, production, sound quality etc just because I take out my phone and take a quick shot. givemeabreak.
Well this is awkward http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/ab160/musicgeekers/rob.jpg
I see both sides of this but I gotta admit it pisses me off to NOT to be able to capture some sort of moment from the night. And yes I do like reminiscing of shows and I do this through memory and through pictures. We as the fans PAY to come see you perform. No one pays to see the artist, guess what, the artist is financially unsuccessful. If I want to take a few friggin' pictures to remember that night, that moment my favorite song came on, I think it's a little bold to be told you simply CAN'T. Like others have stated, it's ALL about discretion. I wouldn't mind if we were told to please keep pictures to a minimum, no flash etc. Of course this is just my opinion but I don't like being told I can't visually capture a moment of a show I PAID to see. Respect between both fans and artist should be somewhat mutual. We're the ones that support you, and for that I don't mean on a financial level.
