Just wanted to throw my voice in here to say that videogum will always have a special place in my heart. I haven't been a regular here since I lost my day job, but I still consider this to be the best place on the internet. I have met and become friends with so many amazing people through this place. It feels like my favorite dive bar is closing. :( I'll be sad to see it go, but I know that monsters will live on and be awesome somewhere else on the interwebs. <3 <3
Call your Girlfriend has become my least favorite Robyn Song. Too overplayed. She has some real gems though. Like:

Wow, it was a good year for women in music! And it looks like I am regressing a bit as I get older to more allow more pop in the mix, and I am ok with that.
See but gay people were being discharged even if they weren't standing up and announcing it. They were being found out, even if they weren't talking about it, by their facebook pages, and "out-ed" publicly and shamefully discharged. It was used as a tool of oppression, not as a way to keep soldiers minds off of sex, and free of distractions or whatever. Not every gay person is as flamboyant as your little mind thinks they are. Most are just regular people, who maybe want to talk about their loved ones back home once in a while.
For every time Santorun says something crazy bigoted and pisses me off, I google his name 10 times. I suggest everyone do the same, it's sort of therapeutic.
