Whoops, that was meant to be a reply to rejectedjeffdunhampuppet . Also Facebook YOU HAVE REVEALED ME.
Channing Tatum? You could've had Henry here at scale!
The real question is: should we let our kids play the Simpsons videogame?
I hope you will all contribute to my new fund, which I'm calling Buy Every Child a Tripod So There Are Less Wobbly Youtube Videos In the World fund.
I just spent about 20 minutes looking for pictures of people wearing shirts as pants in regards to lady on the left. But I couldn't find anything! Wasn't this a thing for a while? People would wear ridiculous baggy sweaters as pants and try to make it look hipster-y, for fun? Or have I been on the internet too long?
Even as a kid I loved the Jeeves and Wooster intro! But I am kind of a nerd. I also think it is a predecessor for the Mad Men stylistic intro. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cWvwkqDCWQ
"You guys, I’m worried about Noah Baumbach! Like, kind of for real! I know that you cannot know THAT much about someone’s life just by their work, but if Noah Baumbach’s work is even slightly representational of the world he lives in, then he lives in a terrible world where everyone is a real fucking asshole!" Gabe - this is great. This is exactly how I felt about the movie. I was annoyed, and angry at it, and just hated it a little bit. But most of all I was sad that there were people out there who thought this character was normal or likable or even enviable, in some indie chic way. Also I will echo oh's comment above - wtf was with the oral sex scene? That was one of the most awful, embarrassing, ickiest sex scenes I've ever seen in a film. I know it was supposed to be that way. But UGH.
I totally love that movie. It may annoy people with its twee-ness, and. . .I have no defense against that. I can just say that it hit me in a good place and I love it with all my heart.
SPOILER ALERT.
Oh. Man. Guys why did Hollywood want to traumatize every child born in the 80's?
Just gonna say that I have been witness to my boyfriend openly sob twice, and once was towards the end of watching The Road.
Kelly, I will jump on this bandwagon with you. And I just have to say that Adventureland is maybe one of my favorite movies. I know! It's just this little cute movie about being young and stuff. And I am a movie snob. But I think it has made it into my top 5 films. I've been watching it once a month for. . .almost six months now. I love that movie! Someone join me in my movieclub please.
Rocko fought corporate America!
I only WISH they were Improve Everywhere. More like Annoy Everywhere, amirite?
Wow - it really is Sex and the City for guys! Like how we never know Mr. Big's name. It will turn out to be Jane. Or Sarah. V. exciting.
My tip my tip! I feel special today.
I bought that movie at Blockbuster for a dollar! It actually. . .wasn't so bad. For a dollar.
Nothing to say - just that I will stand with you in growing discomfort about the whole thing. :\
