I saw Amanda Palmer live in Hollywood at Amoeba Records. Say what you will about her but she put on a true show. Her grasp of true intimacy with the audience was spellbinding to say the least. She and her band did covers of "Polly" by Nirvana and "Idioteque" b Radiohead and it was done bare bones instrumentation style, and so raw, visceral, poignant, haunting and beautiful. I really feel she is an artist. I don't focus on her eyebrows, or the incidentals of her grooming. She's wildly gifted. Her history as a mime is probably one of the reasons she can connect so darn well in a live setting. And I hope I get at least one positive like for my new attempt at being sincere in my post(s) :)

I agree splinturd. I was off my game today. I got trolled by oblivion who is a terrible troll ( but the music on his link-page was pretty cool) and unfortunately it was at the top of the thread section. I understand your annoyance. That new Bowie record really rocks though. In all seriousness.

There again with the Rubjon thing. It's so unbelievable. What makes that emo haircut so troll appetizing? Trolling isn't just about cleverness, although that could be arranged to.. Its about enjoying music on this fine blog, like waking up to a good cup of Folger's coffee and realizing that along with my delicious breakfast, I'll take a side order of trolling just for humor's sake.
