I've been bitching to my friends about this so much........so much to say. But i think all i'll say is this makes me appreciate the Postal Service even more, gosh they are great.
It's becoming harder and harder to be a Death Cab supporter.....Oh and as for the BTS/Modest Mouse comparison i totally agree, think of Death Cab For Cutie as the annoying little brother, sure not even close to as good but still like em.
Well i have been trying to explain that Owl City is a cheap rip off of the Postal Service to my music ignorant friends for a long time, but now i have proof! i also read in an interview that this gu said he never heard of the Postal Service, the shame.
BTW Nick Rock it's not our fault nobody loves you.
One of the best Christmas songs ever.......i know that's not saying much but this is up there with the Rvionettes and Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.
I give up on trying to think these people can really make list i'll like. Just glad to see Bright Eyes so high, of course the Strokes are there, and glad the Libertines made it too.

ehem got that out of my system....now let's see. I still feel like i ran into a long lost friend, and though he's not as cool as the glory days he's still badass, perfect hair and all.
And of course fab wouldn't wear that junk, he would wear an FC Barcelona jersey, because futbol is greater than baseball.
Yay! i like the sounds, good sounds....and oh do i remember that voice. Still want my Strokes back, this is just like a teas till i get the real thing.
His voice remind me of good music.........
But serously, he is bigger than jesus in my eyes, and please don't hate me when i say the Strokes are more or less my favorite band (i have personal reasons A.E. growing up ect). And even with all that in mind i don't think this album will be very good. Still gonna buy it and listen to it tons and probably even like it but it won't be very good.
i can't say they were ever cool enough to sell out but this is disappointing, even more disappointing than Iron and Wine in the last one. Death Cab is about to get a whole new set of fans and my goodness they will be annoying.
