Carnivale! Carnivale was great, you guys. Also Boardwalk Empire and Deadwood. And all three of those are better than Downton Abbey could ever hope to be, so.
Yes. Cutest sweater vest wearer since Dr. Reid on Criminal Minds.
I feel like this comment was made just for me. You truly are a Videogum treasure, Notsewfast.
Yes, I love that sketch! And I love Mitchell and Webb. So much. I think there are a few fans 'round these parts, I know that there's someone called Sir Digby Chicken Caesar, and also someone called BMX Bandit.
I don't want to live in a world where the flukeman doesn't really exist! http://www.thekeyhoereport.com/uploads/Flukeman.jpg
Man, this is why I hate living in a Maryland suburb. I miss everything fun. I need to move somewhere that matters (NY or LA of course) stat.
Off topic comment. For some reason, when I saw Mae Whitman, I thought of the first actress to play Ann... and I realized that it was Zoe from Caprica. Crazy.
*you're. I'll admit, I wasn't exactly a track 1 girl.
You guys are being so unfair. I blame his teachers for putting him in track 3! Do you know how it feels to be told your dumb at 11? Do you?
Andy Richter was on the last Nerdist podcast, and he basically said that they are in talks with Fox and that it's looking good. So yay.
My birthday is actually on Friday, but I can't stop talking about how excited for Sunday I am. Everyone's like, "Oh hey, legal drinking age, how awesome!" and I'm like, "I wonder how Walt's going to deal with the loss of his family, you know, aside from cooking more meth!"
Don't forget the triumphant return of Breaking Bad on Sunday! I'm so pumped, guys. Is anyone else so excited for this? I can't wait to do my Breaking Bad dance in front of my TV again.
"You want it to be one way, racing pigeon. But it's the other way."
So. Excited. Except that I don't have HBO anymore. But still! I'll find a way... maybe not a legal way, but a way nonetheless.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's grave is like a 10 minute walk from my house. After I saw this movie, I went there and apologized on behalf of everyone who worked on this movie. I must admit, I laughed the hardest when you called Brad Pitt an actress. I only like high-brow comedy, clearly, because I'm classy. Oh, and my mom couldn't decide what her favorite movie of 2008 was: it was a toss up between this and Marley & Me. Doesn't that just say it all?
Inception, Kick-Ass, Iron Man 2, The Green Hornet, Hippie Hippie Shake, Perrier's Bounty, Magic Valley. I'll probably see Jonah Hex at some point, too, because comic books. Also, Peacock, but it's going straight to DVD for some reason. Yes, I love Cillian Murphy, what of it?!
Oh man, you are in for a treat! And when you're all finished, you can join the rest of the Firefly fans and carry a fury with you for FOX that will never fade. Enjoy.
Such a cheap way to get upvotes! But I love Firefly so much that I still gave you one. Serenity was on USA last night in all its edited-for-TV glory and I couldn't go to sleep until it was over.
I see leathery lady prison guards, and I can't help but think of what a missed opportunity this was. They should have called her: http://www.durfee.net/oz/images/Howell6.jpg
Did Ricky and Larry not get along? Because they got along swimmingly on that "Ricky Gervais meets Larry David" special. I know this question could be easily answered by watching the show, but I won't put myself through that.
